The company started its operations in Bulgaria in February 1999, offering innovative solutions and products of Amadeus IT Group, as well as consultation to Bulgarian travel agencies for effective development of their business.
The Bulgarian team of specialists in the field of tourism provides comprehensive assistance and advice, as well as a wide range of learning opportunities with our experienced consultants in the office of Amadeus in Sofia.
On August 8, 2009 a Joint-Venture Agreement was concluded between Bulgaria Air and Amadeus IT Group, according to which Bulgaria Air AD acquires 45% of Amadeus Bulgaria OOD.
In November 2012 Bulgarian Airways Group acquires shares of Bulgaria Air AD, becoming a partner in Amadeus Bulgaria OOD.
